Ceramic v's steel

When we were making decisions about the building I wasn’t happy with a steel roof, being old school, I know the argument on this and I appreciate that the new style steel roofs are far superior to the old one but old habits die hard. Plus I like the look of the ceramic. The problem was that the roof had been designed for steel which ment we had to make some changes to the roof timbers and the windows on the terrace to allow for the extra weight.
